RoseI am obsessive about order.  Everything must always be in its place.  I can see my teenage daughters rolling their eyes while reading this statement.  They get to bear the brunt of it. ‘Roll your eyes if you will, girls … I’ve noticed that my lessons (this one and others) are rubbing off on you!’

As working mothers, it’s important to model great lessons for our children.  With all the competing priorities, we must decide to make an impact on our kids, and insist that they do better than they think is possible. Not an easy feat… but doable if you find a team to help you.

It takes a village to raise a child… so the African proverb goes, and I am clear that without the help my extended family, my children would not be the bright, beautiful, well-rounded girls that they are. Teamwork makes the dream work, so take a moment to find your village.
