founders_0002_Layer 3It is true – it seems like whenever you look up, I am either on a mountain somewhere in Kenya or planning to climb one.  I’ve been up Mt. Kenya, Mt. Longonot, and recently conquered Mt. Kilimanjaro. I am a part of a hiking community based in Nairobi, and enjoy the experiences for the fresh air and the views.

But bigger than that, the challenges I face as I go up step by step, remind me of the steps that I have to take to navigate through life.  Climbing a mountain is no different from managing a project at work.  You have to set milestones, build relationships, work as a strong team, and communicate with your team members.

And just like with mountain climbing, sometimes you summit, and sometimes you don’t – sometimes your projects fail, and other times they succeed.  No matter what, you have to keep climbing.
